The Slimming World Files | Week one and two



Heya everyone,


I finally bit the bullet and joined Slimming World on 8th January. I’ve wanted to lose some weight for a while now but on new years day I woke up and the motivation was there. I was kinda tight and waited till I found a free voucher before I joined.


I’m looking to lose a few stones, nothing major I know I will never be a size 8. I just want to be healthy and feel more comfortable in my skin again.


The reason why I’m doing these Slimming World Files is mainly for me. I want to keep a record of my weight loss and what I am eating. I feel this will keep me motivated. I also would love to share thoughts and ideas with anyone else going through a weight loss journey.


On my first week I lost 7.5 lbs and my second 3.5 lb, that’s a total of 11 lbs in 2 weeks. I have to admit I’m not a big fan of the meetings, I find them rather long winded however they are great for support and motivation. So far I’m really enjoying it, it doesn’t feel like a diet at all. The main thing i’ve noticed is planning is key. I do a weekly meal plans including snacks. This way I know I won't be dashing to the corner shop for treats because I have nothing in the house to eat.


I thought I’d share with you some of the things I have been eating. I hope it helps and inspires some of you who are following Slimming World to see what someone else eats. I follow the extra easy plan and I aim to have 10 syns a day.

  1. Wow, well done!! I too joined slimming world on the 2nd Jan and so far have lost 7 1/2 lbs, it's great isn't it??
