Bump And Beyond

Review | Natural Birthing Company Bosom Buddies Breastfeeding Survival Kit*

Breastfeeding is one of those topics that everyone feels differently about and has had different experiences too! When I was pregnant with Darcy I was keen to read up as much as possible about everything so that  was as prepared as I could be! Breastfeeding was something that I kept coming back to, simply because there didn't seem to be a one answer method to any of the questions that I had.

With Darcy I went for mixed feeding, because she didn't always seem to get enough milk from the breast. I am a firm believer in knowing what is best for you and your baby, that method worked for us and that is all that matters. If you are in a similar position, you need to do what you need to do!

If you do decide to try breast feeding then it stands to reason you are going to want to make your life as easy as possible. When I cam across the Bosom Buddies Breastfeeding Survival Kit from The Natural Birthing Company I was really pleased with how the kit worked. Using the kit is easy and it can help your breastfeeding journey in so many ways.

The kit comes with three solutions that you can mix with water to help sooth your sore breasts. I know sore and painful nipples might not be an easy thing to talk about - but if you breastfeed they probably will hurt!

You get "ohh" for engorged breasts, the "ahh" solution for a low milk supply and "ouch" for sore nipples. You also get a pair of organic cotton flannels to help put these on your breasts when you need to (Just as you would expect from The Natural Birthing Company!)

You simply add the solution that you want to the cloth and sit back and relax for half an hour, preferably in a dark room. They're packed with all sorts of essential oils and goodness which can help with breastfeeding, sore nipples and even with helping you to feel calmer and more relaxed. Breastfeeding isn't always the easiest of options but I found that using this kit really helped me with feeling relaxed and 'pulling myself together'.

I love how beautifully presented the kit is, which helps to make it a possible gift if you know a mum-to-be or something you buy yourself. It;s only £29.99 to buy and I found that each of the solutions helped me just as they should! There are lots of benefits to breastfeeding your baby so for me, anything that helps mum through this often challenging time is fantastic and something that I would advocate! This product did just that, and as the only product of its type on the market, it's well worth trying!
