Last Autumn I was invited to be a member of the judging team for Product Of The Year. I had a great time trying out all the products shortlisted so was excited to see who the winners were.
The awards were held on Thursday 21st January at the Hilton Park Hotel. I was lucky enough to be able to bring my mum along as my plus one for the night.
I had never been to an Award Night before, so all this was very new to me. After mingling over a couple of glasses of wine in the reception area. We made our way into for dinner. Which may I had was amazing, we had the best lamb rump I've ever tasted.
The Awards were presented by comedian Rory Bremner who was a great host, and on entertainment duty was girl band 4th Impact of X Factor fame who got everyone out of their seats dancing along with them.
We were lucky enough to be given the biggest goodie bag ever, of all the winning product. You can view all the winners here.
Some of my favourite products included;
Gillette Venus Snap Women's portable razor I love the size and how 5 blades and the moisturising strip left my legs soft and silky smooth.
Bebeto Fruit Strings 7 Day Pack Advertised for kids these low sugar, high juice snacks which are also fat free, consist of various fruits adults will also love them too
Asda Little Angels Extra Protection Wipe I have to admit I'm a bit of a label snob when it comes to baby wipes. However, these are so good, thick, soft and enriched with a skin friendly barrier lotion to protect against irritation and nappy rash.
Arla skyr I've been a fan of these since joining Slimming World. Thick, creamy, filling and low in Syns. These are also perfect if you're on SP.
Thank you for a great night "Product Of The Year". I look forward to see what innovative products win in 2017.
But wait....
