I don't know about you but Chocolate Cornflake cakes reminds me of my childhood. Milk or white chocolate everyone loves a crispy cornflake cake whatever their age. I had lots of fun in the kitchen making these with Darcy, I'm sure you will with your little ones too.
Ingredients
- 50g butter
- 200g white chocolate
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 100g cornflakes
- 1 packet of Mini Eggs
- Melt the butter, chocolate and golden syrup in a pan on a low heat until melted
- Allow to cool
- Pour over the cornflakes and gently stir ingredients together
- Arrange 12 cupcakes cases into a cupcake tray
- Spoon mixture into cases
- Add one or two eggs in the center of each cake
- Put in the fridge to set

ReplyDeleteYour right there is something about cornflake cakes that takes me right back to childhood! These look fab, making cornflake/rice crispie cakes are one of my little girls favourite thing to do! x

ReplyDeleteWe always have crispy cakes at Easter but I've never thought to use white chocolate, I've no idea why as I love it :)
