Back to School with Jake Shoes*

If you are a regular reader you will know that I have got on the Back to school hype, her school uniform is all washed and iron and labelled with her My nametags stickers.

I thought everything was sorted for the brand new school term, until Darcy decided to have a growth spurt and I was in need of a new pair of shoes for her. Luckily the team over at Jake Shoes got in contact to see if we would like to test a pair of their shoes. I have to say I was spoilt for choice when browsing back to school shoe range.

Whilst Darcy loves girlie shoes, I was looking for something sturdy which would last the year. Luckily we found these Lelli Kelly shoes, which have a retail price of £54.99. I love that the shoes came with a pair of ankle socks, a care guide and a little make up palette. Which if I am honest I think Darcy is a little young for. So will keep it safe for when she is a little older.

This style looks great and is practical too. The Velcro fastening means she will be able to put her shoes on herself, as she is unable to tie her shoe laces yet. Most importantly, they are fashionable and are in keeping with her new school uniform policy.

As you can see we had a trying on session and Darcy is really impressed with them. She said that they were comfortable and she is super excited to start school in September so she can wear them. Which is definitely a positive thing in my books.

Jake Shoes have a huge range of well-known brands such as Kickers, Timberlands, Dr Martens and Skechers to name a few. They also sell adults shoes and accessories such as bags, welly socks and shoe polish.

They offer a price match promise, free delivery for over £50 spends and a 14 days return policy.

I am aware that getting good quality school shoes that last a year can be a struggle but looking at the quality of the shoes they look like they will last whole year, unless she decides to have yet another growth spurt.

* these shoes were gifted in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
