DUBAI FOOD GUIDE | RESTURANTS YOU MUST VISIT*

People are rushing to book holidays now that the Covid travel rules are being to be relaxed. Dubai has emerged as the world's most popular country to visit. Dubai is known for its incredible restaurants and dining options that there's so much to choose from. It can be overwhelming!

Whether you are looking for something cheap and cheerful or an once in a lifetime no-budget dining experience, the city has something to suit every taste.I have created a list with some of the most spectacular meals and  Dubai restaurants for you to try when you are next in the city.

KIZA LOUNGE

Kiza is a Pan African restaurant, bar & lounge, which celebrates all aspects of the continent’s rich heritage and culture, delivering a sensory experience backed up by authentic tastes that serves more than just tasty African food and great cocktails. Dishes on the menu include Nkandla prawns and West African red bean stew making one of the best Dubai Resturants around.

MADNESS

If you are looking for a new fun place to visit, Madness should be your go-to place. Known for their staff wearing masks (not the blue hospital ones) and amazing vibes. They offer some interesting fusion dishes, including Beef Cola pops and Fish Tacos. The interior is Joker themed and very Instagrammable.

OSSAINO

An underwater restaurant that offers a 15 - 18 course menu with delicious cocktails to pair them with. The restaurant is located at The Altantis Palm, which boasts stunning views of the Albantis Lagoon. Make sure you book your reservations ahead of time, as it is always fully booked. Ossaino is the only restaurant in Dubai to take the title of best seafood in Dubai for five consecutive years at the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards.

NOBU

Nobu is famous for its five-star experience, from the exquisite food to the outstanding service and beautiful ambiance based at the Atlantis Hotel. It combines classic Janpanese ingredients and traditional Arabic elements. The high quality and unique sushi at Nobu's multiple locations around the world is highly praised by chefs and celebrities, making it one of the most famous restaurants in the world.

ULA

The recently opened beach restaurant based in Palm Jumeriah with incredible views of JBR and Ain Dubaihas. With the most perfect Mediterranean vibe. The beachside restaurant overlooking the glistening sea makes you get into a complete relaxation and holiday mood.

The outdoor seating is semi-open with flying drapes, soft lighting and feel good music. A nice touch about this venue is that it is divided; one side for families and the other for adults, which is perfect if you want to go somewhere with a lively atmosphere which is also child friendly.

One thing to remember is that Dubai is an Islamic city, a more modest code of behaviour is required. Although you will see plenty of exceptions, mainly from tourists, there is a dress code for Dubai and this has been implemented as a show of respect and to avoid any offence being given.

What restaurants do you want to visit in Dubai this year? Any recommendations on places to eat?
