There’s one thing for sure, I do love themed baskets full of
activities and treats and of course Halloween has given me an excuse to
put one together, right? You can see the baskets I did for Darcy at Easter this year, Easter 2016 and of course last years Halloween basket.
I do not like the idea of Darcy going
trick or treating no matter how old she gets. So a Halloween basket is
perfect for her. It’s great to see D enjoying all her goodies. I always
produce my theme basket with a budget. From my bargain 20p Room on the
broom charity shop find, to a kaleidoscope from Flying Tiger, formly known as Tiger for £1. You definitely do
not have to spend a fortune.
So here is what’s in our Halloween Basket….

For
me I cannot have a seasonal basket without a book as D is such a book
worm. I specially was looking for Room on the Broom by our favourite duo
Julia Donaldson (Author), Axel Scheffler (Illustrator)
as we are going to Chessington World of Adventures for their Howl’ O’ Ween event. They will be having a storytelling based on the book and
we will get to meet the witch ourselves!! Not
only does this top glow in the dark! It was only £2.99 from H & M,
which will look amazing in the evening when we are watching DVDs in the
evening.

Speaking of DVDs who remembers Mona the Vampire? I can’t get the theme tune out of my head now. As
Halloween falls on out weekly Mummy and Darcy day, I thought we could do
some spooky baking.I found these cupcake making set in our local
Poundland. I’m sure she will be getting plenty of sweets, so I’m only
going to include a couple of chocolate treats

FlyingTiger is one of my favourite shops, I never leave empty handed. This bag will keep her busy, love that she can customised it to her liking. I have not seen a kaleidoscope forever and it was only £1!

| Plate Cup – Tesco |
I wasn’t going to buy her anything more but whilst in Tesco I couldn’t help myself. The plate and cup were only a £1 each and she’s been using them non stop since we brought them.
