Explore London’s Christmas decorations
One of the best things to do in London around the festive period is to admire all the lights and shop window displays. You really don’t need to look hard for Christmas spirit in London. Scroll into Central London and you will be met with a dazzling sea of lights. Start at Regent Street and see the stunning Christmas angels before exploring the Rock n’ Roll decorations on London’s Carnaby Street. You’ll then see the world famous Oxford Street Christmas Lights and peak in at the incredible 2022 Christmas window displays at Selfridges!
Other must see Christmas window displays include Hamley’s, The world-famous toy shop, located on London’s Regent Street, features a stunning reindeer display with the slogan: “Do reindeers always have to look the same?” printed on the window. A second display, themed around Avatar: The Way of Water, advertises the upcoming blockbuster which is set to be released next month.

Christmas markets are a must-visit for festive food, mulled wine, and some holiday shopping in London. Some of the best Christmas Markets in London include Southbank’s Centre Winter Festival where you can pick up some of the best traditional wooden gifts to Covent Garden Christmas Market where you will be met by a sprinkle of snow. Snowfall takes place on the hour from 12:00pm until 9:00pm, every day, 7 days a week from 1st December to the 21st December
